Program Projects (to gain practical experience)

Project 1: Implementing Azure IaaS

OSS Corporation is evaluating Azure as a deployment platform. For this, they need to create virtual networks in the above region, create test virtual machines in both virtual networks, establish connectivity between the two networks via VNet peering, and ensure that the connectivity is properly established.

Project 2: Using Azure Portal to deploy security and PaaS service

OSS Corporation decided to log an employee into the company's default Azure Active Directory and assign a custom RBAC role that allows him to read network storage along with the VM. Under this custom RBAC, the employee must also be authorized to start and restart the VM. Your job is to log in the employee under Default Azure AD, create Custom RBAC for the Computer Operator role as well as provision and deploy Azure Web App.

Project 3: Azure feature listening to a queue 02

The company InGen Soft decided to introduce serverless functionality into its application workload using the Azure feature and storage queue. As a developer, you log in to the Azure Portal and create the Resource Group, Storage Account, and Input Queue services. Create an Azure feature using Visual Studio that includes Queue Binding and Deployment from Visual Studio.

Project 4: Automate Workloads with ARM Templates

Rand Enterprises Corporation wants to test an ARM template to put Infrastructure as Code into practice. As part of the operations team, you will need to define the entire network architecture using the ARM template. Once this is in place, you will need to create the storage account along with a virtual machine to house the application.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

What is the value of a Master Certificate?

AVC's Master's programs help you master in-demand skills at a faster pace and increase your marketability. Whatever your career goals, whether you are an entry-level professional or looking for skill development opportunities to change careers, AVC's Master's programs will help accelerate those goals. These certificates are in high demand.

Note: We are not a university and do not award university degrees. This Master's means that you have gone through the entire program and gained all the essential knowledge of the subject and thus have fully mastered the subject. Each course/part of the program also results in a certificate.

What knowledge and experience is required for the Master's programs?

In general, no previous experience is required to participate in the program. The training starts at the introductory level and proceeds (step by step) to the expert level. However, it is always helpful if you have basic knowledge or experience of the subject. Read more about your specific course details.

This program is self-paced, so you can learn at your own pace. You will start with a practical e-learning module, followed by a series of online courses tailored to your needs where you have the freedom to choose the dates and times that best suit your schedule - and if you miss a session, you can easily reschedule it. Each session is recorded so that you can go through the material as many times as needed.

By the end of the program, you will have gained extensive knowledge and be able to demonstrate and apply it in a variety of practical tasks and projects.

How long does it take to complete the Master's program?

Due to the combination of e-learning and bootcamp in live online classrooms, the program takes approximately 3 months (5-10 hours/week). You will have 365 days of access to the program's eLearning videos and class recordings.

What is the structure of the Master programs? Do I have to come to a training center?

The majority of the programs are entirely based on distance learning. Most of them include intensive online bootcamps with eLearning that you can complete at your own pace. These Learning Paths consist of different courses and topics that are related to specific skills for a role or job. There are also online classroom sessions via our advanced professional distance learning system. There are a range of different time slots to choose from and we always record the sessions so you can listen to them if you miss something or want to review information. Someone is always on hand to help and support you if you have any questions about the skills you are learning.

When can I take Master's online courses?

The timing of the courses varies from group to group. You will have access to a dashboard with several time slots for each session or topic, so you can choose what works best for you. Sessions can be scheduled on weekday afternoons, weekend mornings or evenings, depending on participants' interest and trainer availability. If you miss a session, you can always catch up by watching the recordings, so you never miss any content.

When can I unlock my Master Certificate?

Once you have completed at least 85% of the course material, your certificate will be unlockable. This applies to all Master programs. One of the criteria for obtaining the Master Certificate is to participate in the live courses. However, exceptions can be made if you are not able to attend live, but watching the recordings is still required. Find out more about your specific course or email us for more information.
