Management of Risk (M_o_R®) is designed to help organizations establish an effective risk management framework to make informed decisions about the risks that affect their strategic, portfolio, program, project, product, or operational objectives. It provides practical guidance on how to effectively manage risk and shows how risk is linked to opportunity and the realization of benefits. M_o_R® 4 is universally applicable and aligned with ISO standards. It provides a modern, value and benefits-oriented best practice for risk management that is applicable across all industries, sectors and regions and for all delivery methods, including Agile.

M_o_R® is a risk management roadmap that brings together principles, an approach, a set of interrelated processes, and references to more detailed sources of advice on risk management techniques and specialties. The purpose of the Practitioner course is to confirm whether the candidate has gained sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor M_o_R in a scenario situation.

• Exams are administered online, making it easy for you to choose to take the exam at home or at the office, at a time that is convenient for you!
• What we need is a computer with internet for exam and webcam (ProctorU).

M_o_R Practitioner exam format

• Objective examination
• 3 hours duration
• Four questions per exam, 20 points per question available
• 50% passing grade (40/80)
• Open book (details below)
• Candidates can use the book: Management of Risk, Guidance for Practitioners (the Management of Risk 'guide'), along with: ABC Guide Part A Example Techniques guidance document. No materials may be used other than the question booklet, scenario booklet, answer booklet and the two manuals.

Prerequisites for the exam

To participate in the M_o_R Practitioner course, candidates must hold the M_o_R Foundation certification.

We recommend that you have basic knowledge and experience in risk management.

AVC gives you the chance to retake the exam in case you fail the first attempt, for only €60. You have a maximum of 6 months from the date of the first attempt to retake your exam.
