Plan and Execute Hybrid Projects
Agile project management is a proven method, with many organizations adopting Agile practices and experiencing success in delivering value earlier to the customer. The value is clear: Agile is flexible to adapt to changes, engages team and stakeholders and allows rapid feedback to ensure delivery of a product that meets users’ needs.
But many organizations are realizing that they can’t easily discard certain roles, processes or artifacts to adhere to a “pure” Agile implementation. Industries with heavier audit, regulatory or compliance requirements, as well as non-technology projects, are examples. These environments require a different type of model that combines both predictive and agile practices, to leverage the “best of both worlds”. But applying a hybrid model is not straight-forward – there are many variations, with issues and challenges that must be resolved.
This course will review the important elements of both Agile and predictive project management to develop a tailored approach to a mixed, hybrid environment. We will also explore hybrid model challenges and investigate methods to address them. The goal of this course is for you to be able to design and implement a hybrid project successfully.
